'MellowBerry initiated with a heartfelt aspiration: to introduce original Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Rossi lineage in 1985, our pizza shop originated as a quaint, familial joint, inheriting recipes that have traveled through many generations.
Marco Rossi, the progenitor, acquired the skill of producing pizzas during her escapades across Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizza chefs in Naples—the ancestral home of pizza. After her return to the UK, her mission was to replicate the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza, employing age-old techniques and prime materials.
What commenced as a humble pizzeria with 12 seats has amplified into a cherished neighborhood fixture, yet our dedication to distinction and authenticity remains intact. We continue to employ classic wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough freshly each day, and seek out the most exquisite ingredients available.
Presently, 'MellowBerry is still in the hands of the Rossi family, with a new generation at the helm of our fervent crew. Though we have adopted modern progressions, our core ethos endures: to serve savory, genuine pizza that unites friends and families.
